Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
At Springwood High School, we are shaping the future by nurturing the next generation. Our work is driven by a deep passion for making a meaningful impact on our students' lives, helping them achieve their full potential, and creating an inclusive environment for all.
Located in Faulconbridge, our school holds a special historical connection to Sir Henry Parkes and the establishment of public education in Australia. This legacy is something we deeply cherish. Public education represents a powerful opportunity to enhance the life chances of young people, contributing to the strength and growth of our communities and society.
As a proudly comprehensive school, we honour the historical legacy and responsibilities entrusted to us. We are committed to upholding values such as fairness, equity, diversity, and excellence, ensuring outstanding educational outcomes for every student. Our long tradition of success is evident across academic, cultural, sporting, and community achievements.
It is a great honour to work with and serve the mid-mountains community. Together, we are creating resilient, successful and skilled young adults who hold a deep sense of connectedness to our school and community.
Stuart Harvie, Principal of Springwood High School
