A Cooler School for Springwood High

Our summers are getting hotter... and so are our kids' classrooms. The NSW Government's Cooler Classrooms initiative offers air conditioning to schools affected by excessive heat but while some Mountains schools are benefiting, so far Springwood High School (SHS) has been excluded. 

The SHS P&C, with assistance from experts at Western Sydney University, are working on a plan to change this and we need your help and support. 

Parents, teachers and students are invited to an information and planning session on Tuesday 12th February, 7.30pm - 8.30pm in the school library. It will include a talk from guest speaker, Dr Sebastian Pfautsch, on the University of Western Sydney’s Cool School's Initiative. Come along to hear more about the work that the P&C has done so far and to find out what you can do to support this campaign to improve the learning environment for all our children.
