Bell Times

Bell Times and Structure of the School Day

Our school follows a 4 period day structure, and a two week cyclic timetable. There are 4 periods each Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesdays, there are 3 periods before lunch. After lunch there is grade/recreational sport or musical rehearsals for Years 7 - 10. Please note students may have to leave during lunch to be transported to sport locations via bus.

Senior students do not have timetabled classes during Wednesday sport as well as Monday and/or Friday period 4. Extension classes are timetabled during this time and students are welcome to remain at school for private study.

The cyclic timetable means that there will be a Week A and Week B.  Students' timetables for the alternate weeks will be different. The required hours for each subject are spread over the two week period.

The school day commences at 8.20 with a preliminary bell to advise students to move to roll call. A longer roll call of 20 minutes occurs each Tuesday as part of our Wellbeing Program.

The school day ends at 2.30pm, which will allow students time to move to buses in a safe and orderly manner.
