Parents and citizens' association

The Parents and Citizens Association at Springwood High School is a partnership that sees our school and community working side by side. Its common goal is the high quality education for our children and the wellbeing of all students at the school.

Schools should reflect their local communities and their expectations and values. P&Cs are a way for parents to find out what is happening at the school and be involved in decision-making. We are proud of our input into the school with our current fundraising priorities being the purchase of technology, such as data projectors and interactive whiteboards, and improving home-school communication.

Be involved. It shows your children that school is important and strengthens our broader school community. Great school communities offer children greater futures.

Springwood High School P&C office bearers for 2017 are:

Julia Thurling

Vice Presidents:

Belinda Collings

James Goodwin

Rebecca Whiteside

All parents, caregivers and other members of the community are welcome to attend our meetings, which are normally held on the first Wednesday of each month (in Term time) at 7.30pm in the School Library. Tea and coffee provided.

Celebrating Design ARTISAN MARKET

Reflecting the School's commitment to the creative arts, Celebrating Design is a pre-Christmas market day with stalls featuring hand-crafted gifts by a range of talented artisans. Ceramics, textiles, clothes, jewellery, leather, silks and more are included. It provides a relaxing way to find unique and beautiful gifts and support local artisans and the school.

Artisans wishing to hire space for Celebrating Design can contact the P&C via the school or via springwoodhighpandc@gmail.com
